Reviews of "The Transparent Cat":

"A unique release, though, worth looking into."

Jason Bivins (Cadence) USA

"...dark, heavy percussion...roaring and trilling baritone saxophone...crazy and beautiful voice...It is a wonderful relief to hear music that doesn't bother to flatter. ...This music feels as if it is free from set patterns which is rare."

"Together they make a personal and expressive mix of music.Baritone saxophone as a solo instrument combined with Selander's voice improvisations creates a unique framing to the poetic lyrics of f.i. Rawia Morra and Ann Jäderlund."

Ulf Thelander, Orkesterjournalen - Om Jazz 5-2000.
